Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information: (a) Account data: name, email address, and authentication method (email/password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google). (b) Precise location data: real-time GPS coordinates while you use turn-by-turn navigation, including while the App runs in background during an active route so we can guide you continuously. (c) Route data: stop addresses, customer names and notes you enter, completed route history, learned travel times, and navigation preferences. (d) Device data: device model, iOS version, language settings, and a vendor identifier. (e) Crash and diagnostic data: anonymous crash logs and performance metrics that help us fix bugs. (f) Bug reports you submit: optional screenshots and notes attached to a bug report stay tied to your account. (g) Photos: Proof-of-Delivery photos you capture stay on your device and are NOT uploaded to our servers. (h) Audio: when you use voice input, short audio snippets are processed by Apple's Speech Recognition service to convert them to text. (i) Advertising identifier (IDFA): only collected if you grant App Tracking Transparency permission, used by AdMob to show relevant ads to Free-tier users.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) provide and improve the route optimization service, (b) learn typical travel times along your routes so future estimates get more accurate over time, (c) personalize your experience based on your preferences, (d) process subscriptions and payments through Apple, (e) send service-related notifications you opted into (route completion, approaching stop, daily reset), (f) display anonymized aggregate analytics on the admin dashboard (e.g. how many routes were optimized today across all users), (g) analyze the App's performance and fix bugs, (h) show personalized ads to Free-tier users who granted ATT permission.

3. Location Data

Precise location access is required for turn-by-turn navigation, route optimization, off-route recalculation, and approaching-stop notifications. Background location is used ONLY while an active navigation session is running so we can keep guiding you when the screen turns off or you switch apps; we do not track you when navigation is stopped. Location data never leaves Google/Firebase servers for advertising purposes. We do not sell or share your location with third-party advertisers.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy we recommend you review: (a) Google Maps Platform โ€” for map rendering, places autocomplete, and tile prewarming. (b) Stadia Maps / Valhalla โ€” for routing, ETA calculation, and the routing matrix used by the optimizer. (c) Apple MapKit โ€” fallback routing when Valhalla is unavailable. (d) Firebase Authentication & Firestore โ€” operated by Google for account login and cloud data storage. (e) Apple StoreKit โ€” for subscription processing and trial offers. (f) Apple Sign in with Apple & Google Sign In โ€” for authentication. (g) Apple Speech Recognition โ€” when you use voice input, audio is sent to Apple's servers to be converted to text. (h) Google AdMob โ€” for ads in the Free tier, when you grant ATT permission.

5. Storage and Security

Cloud data is stored on Firebase (Google Cloud) servers with encryption in transit and at rest. Photos for Proof of Delivery, the Valhalla route cache, and diagnostic logs are stored locally on your device only. We implement industry-standard security measures, but no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data while you maintain an active account. Route history is stored according to your plan: Free users retain routes for 7 days, Pro users for 30 days, Expert users indefinitely. When you delete your account from the Profile section, the App immediately removes your profile, saved routes, learned travel-time records, and bug reports from our Firestore database, deletes the locally stored Proof-of-Delivery photos and diagnostic logs from your device, and finally deletes the authentication record itself. This deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. Anonymous aggregate analytics (e.g. "X routes optimized today") are retained because they cannot be linked back to any individual.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to: (a) access your personal data from the Profile section, (b) correct inaccurate information by editing your profile, (c) delete your account and all associated data using the "Delete Account" button in your profile, (d) download a JSON export of all your cloud data using the "Download my data" button in your profile (GDPR Art. 20 / data portability), (e) withdraw consent for location data collection (note: this will significantly limit the App's functionality), (f) revoke App Tracking Transparency consent at any time from iOS Settings โ†’ DeliveryRoute โ†’ Tracking.

8. Advertising

The Free plan displays ads provided by Google AdMob and partners. If you grant App Tracking Transparency permission, AdMob may use your device identifier (IDFA) to show personalized ads. If you decline, ads will still appear but will not be personalized to you. Pro and Expert plans are completely ad-free. You can limit ad tracking from iOS Settings โ†’ Privacy & Security โ†’ Tracking, and from Settings โ†’ DeliveryRoute โ†’ Tracking.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we discover that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it immediately. Parents who believe their child has provided us information may contact us at the email below for prompt deletion.

10. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes your acceptance.
